| This short ride came about because we abandoned
a much longer ride in the Lake District as a result of very heavy rain.
The weather forecast further east was much better so rapid change of plan
found us in Swaledale. However, the better weather did not last and the
rain soon caught up with us. We sheltered in a phone box for some time before
retreating and heading for the car. |
