| This was a picturesque rural route in the 'White
Peak'. The highlight was the fabulous view of the Wye valley which suddenly
greeted us as we arrived at the top of Longstone Edge. A rapid downhill
took us via Great Longstone to Ashford in the Water where warm autumn sunshine
greeted us as we stopped for lunch. However, the downhill pleasure was followed
by a steep climb out of the valley to take us to the top route to the finish
at Buxton. |
